I believe in the power of a poster. As a kid, they sparked my imagination: The Beatles in their Sergeant Pepper’s outfits, the bizarre and haunting Tool posters, Jimi Hendrix on a motorcycle, Ken Griffey Jr mid-swing, Emmitt Smith towering over the Dallas skyline, Bo Jackson with a baseball bat in football pads, the iconic bird and lineup of Woodstock, and the psychedelic Monterrey Pop Festival.

When I found out about The Fillmore in San Francisco, and their tradition of handing out free posters at the door after concerts, my mind was truly blown open and my passion for designing posters was ignited.
